Back in 2016, after graduating from High School, my cousing (Nelson Cruz) and I decided to lear and develop a videogame while vacations lasted. We went bakc and forth with multiple concepts and ideas, but we wanted to make a platformer for our first game together. Then, I rmemeber that, back in 2012, I developed a simple Flash game called Massi vs. José and uploaded to Newgrounds. This old game was made with Macromedia Flash 8 Pro and had a lot of issues, but I was happy to develop and publish my first game!

After setting up the main idea for the game, we decided to use Unity as our new game engine. It was an amazing experience, we learned a lot! My cousin designed and built all the 40 levels, while I wrote most of the code and did some all-mighty art (not good). After 3 months, we had our game ready. We published it on Itch and got a lot of downloads (~80). Since then, we started and cancelled some projects...

  • Night Ninja (2016)
  • The Legend Of Kathy (2017)
  • Bolly's Adventure
  • Massi vs. José (2021 edition)
  • Together

We couldn't engage with the idea like we did with Massi (2016) and we were disappointed 😔. However, in the most recent years, we finally caught up and decided to reset, reboot, rework our vision as Gammes. After a lot of struggles, we published BallDog! on Google Play Store. It was our first mobile game and our first game in a lot of time! After BallDog!, we've published 3 more games:

When we were finishing Amazing Copter, we started brainstorming for our next project. At the end, we decided to remaster Massi vs. José for Android, and it will be available in 2024. We're hard at work with this new game, and I'm so excited to share more details soon 😀.

Thanks a lot for the support and keep playing!!

When we release a new game, the first question that comes up is "is it available for iOS?" and we always answer the same: no. But I would like to let you know that we've been working really hard to get our games on the App Store, day and night! However, publishing for iOS is way harder than Android.

To publish for Android, "you only need a computer and a dream" - José González, 2024. Setting up your app on Play Store is so straightforward and user-friendly. We've published 4 games already, and we're working on a 5th one (Massi vs. José Remastered). I'm no expert of handling mobile apps and projects, but Google and Unity explain the process very well.

To publish for iOS, you need macOS. To have macOS, you need a MacBook, Mac Mini or iMac (all expensive options). We tried using a service like Mac in Cloud, but to install Unity and handle its license you need a really expensive plan. Our games are not profitable, yet, so these options are all discarded. I could buy a Mac system with my current job, but it's such a difficult decision for me because I've always used PC (Windows & Linux) for work and gaming, and I don't want to buy one just for Unity. Decisions, decisions.

We will continue working on our games, release them on Android and give them their necessary support. iOS versions would still be TBA until further notice 😭. We apologize for any inconveniences, thanks a lot for your support and keep playing!
